Dissertation Defense: Kylie Chichura

The oral doctoral examination of Kylie Chichura, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, April 19, at 12 p.m. in the Center for Science & Technology, room 1-132.

Chichura’s advisor is Professor Robert Doyle. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Carlos Castaneda, Xiaoran Hu, Olga Makhlynets and Ivan Korendovych. Professor Roy Welch will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Design, synthesis, and characterization of monomeric peptide multi-agonists for the mitigation of CNS-associated side effects in the treatment of Type II diabetes and Obesity.”
