Join us for a workshop at the SU Art Museum. Taking Mickalene Thomas’ Portrait of Qusuquzah #5 as inspiration, we’ll explore ideas around identity, representation, and self-fashioning. Beginning with a conversation around Thomas’ work, Nyce and Homm, designers and co-founders of the Philadelphia-based fashion and art brand  Jeantrix, will then lead a workshop where participants will design and adorn their own tote bag, hat, or personal piece of clothing.

Open to Syracuse University and SUNY ESF undergraduate and graduate students.

Generous support for this project provided by Art Bridges.
