Kick off to the SU Systematic Review and Evidence Synthesis Series, coming Fall 2023
Are you thinking about conducting a systematic review or other type of evidence synthesis research? Would you like to connect with others on campus who are doing this type of study?
Join Emily Hart, Science Librarian and Research Impact Lead, and Anita Kuiken, Falk College of Sport & Human Dynamics Librarian and Research Impact Team member, who are trained in conducting systematic reviews and evidence synthesis methods, as they lead an informal discussion on this topic. Coffee and donuts will be provided.
The event will include plenty of time for conversation, along with information about what makes systematic reviews unique, how they compare with other types of evidence synthesis research methods, as well as best practices and guidelines for completing a review. If there’s time, we’ll look at a few examples of high-quality systematic reviews and how they’re structured.
This will be the first informal chat in a series of coffee hours that will take place starting in fall, 2023. Forthcoming topics may include use of systematic review/evidence synthesis software, search strategies, informal mentoring on the process, and more.
