Dissertation Defense: Jiaxin Sun

The oral doctoral examination of Jiaxin Sun, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, August 3, at 12 p.m. in the Physics Building, room 203.

Sun’s advisor is Professor Liviu Movileanu. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jennifer L Ross and Eric Allan Schiff. Professor Ivan Korendovych will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Exploring the equilibrium competition binding assay and ligand-induced current noise at the single-molecule level.”
