Dissertation Defense: Sanum Shafi

The oral doctoral examination of Sanum Shafi, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. via Zoom.

Shafi’s advisor is Professor Matthew Mulvaney. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Gabriel J. Merrin, and Ambika Krishnakumar. Professor Mara Sapon-Shevin will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Parental Determinants of Islamophobic Attitudes in Offspring.”
