The oral doctoral examination of Yuri Pavlov, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom.
Pavlov’s advisor is Professor Tiffany A. Koszalka. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Moon-Heum Cho, Xiaoxia Silvie Huang. Professor Qiu Wang will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Relations between epistemic curiosity and deep learning in asynchronous online discussions.”
