Goldstein Auditorium

This event has already occurred. The information may no longer be valid.

This program is designed to help you support your new student’s transition to Syracuse University. Join us for a panel discussion about Health and Wellness where you will learn more about the Barnes Center at the Arch’s health and wellness resources and other student support resources. Participate in our discussion called BELONG: Supporting Students in Transition to learn more about the ways in which Parent and Family Services, New Student Programs, Student Outreach and Support and Counseling at the Barnes Center can help you and your student. Finally, learn more from our student experts in the Dear Family/Dear Student session—this includes an opportunity to share a brief letter with your student that will be delivered during the first week of classes.

In-person registration is now closed as we have reached the venue’s capacity and have large waitlists.

If you did not have the opportunity to register or join the waitlist (in case of cancellations), you may come to the venue that day and wait in the stand-by line. We will allow registrants to enter the venue first. If space permits, we will admit those on the waitlist next and finally those who are in the stand-by line. For your convenience, we will be live-streaming the sessions on the large video screen in the Schine Student Center Atrium for those unable to enter Goldstein Auditorium.

The entire program will be live-streamed and recorded. You may find the live-stream link here on Wed., Aug. 23 and Thurs., Aug. 24.
