OPEN ART: CENTERING COMMUNITY CONNECTION

Join us during this drop-in artmaking workshop centered on works from the Syracuse University Art Museum’s permanent collection! How might art help you connect with yourself and your community? Explore art materials in an open studio format and work to curate an exhibition of your own as you share out with your community!

Participants will have access to the Syracuse University Art Museum galleries for exploration and inspiration. Using a variety of materials, you will respond to artworks from the museum’s collection and hear about utilizing an open studio framework within a museum setting from visiting faculty member Chloe H. Hayward.
