The oral doctoral examination of Zulfiya Torebekova, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, December 1, at 11 a.m. in 402 Maxwell Hall.
Torebekova’s advisor is Professor W. Henry Lambright. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Sarah Pralle and Rebecca Schewe. Professor Arthur Paris will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Science Policy in Kazakhstan: Exploring Experts’ Participation in Agenda Setting and Policy Formulation Processes.”
