Project IMMERSE is preparing the future of inclusive education faculty, researchers, and leaders by recruiting and supporting Special Education Ph.D. students with full scholarships, stipends, and mentoring.
There is an unprecedented shortage of special education teachers. To combat this, we are supporting the recruitment, retention, and development of doctoral scholars with the knowledge, skills, dispositions, and critical consciousness to be effective, inclusive, and culturally and linguistically sustaining special education leaders.
