The oral doctoral examination of Shiyang Sun, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Tuesday, December 19, at 3 p.m. in 318 Bowne Hall.
Sun’s advisor is Professor Zhen Ma. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors James Henderson, Julie M Hasenwinkel and Jeffrey Amack. Professor Teng Zhang will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Engineering cardiac organoids based on PEG hydrogel for developmental drug screening.”
