Dissertation Defense: Mirjavad Hashemi

The oral doctoral examination of Mirjavad Hashemi, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, December 20, at 10 a.m. via Zoom.

Hashemi’s advisors are Professor Can Isik and Tomislav Bujanovic. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Makan Fardad, Younes Radi, and Ilya Grinberg. Professor Edward A Bogucz will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Conference of Wavelet Types: An Ensemble Approach to Utilizing Multiple Wavelet Types for Robust Fault Location in Power Systems Transmission Lines Based on Traveling Waves.”
