Dissertation Defense: Shawn Dormann

The oral doctoral examination of Shawn Dormann, candidate for the Ph.D. degree  will be held on Monday, February 6, at 1:30 p.m. in the Hall of Languages, room 500.

Dormann’s advisor is Professor John D. Chisholm. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Nancy I. Totah, Rachel C. Steinhardt, Michael B. Sponsler, and James Hougland. Professor Ian D. Hosein will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Synthetic Studies on Small Molecule Src Homology 2 Domain Containing Inositol 5’Phosphatase (SHIP) Modulators and Studies towards the Design and Synthesis of a SHIP PROTAC.”
