This is not your ordinary paint night! Bring your friends and your creativity to Trap N Paint with a slight twist. A night filled with music you can dance to while expressing your artistic painting skills on something you can take away. A complimentary “art piece” will be provided to attendees by the host, illustrator and dollmaker Jaleel Campbell.
Required to Attend: Valid Syracuse University I.D. No ticket needed.
About Jaleel Campbell
My passion for creating knows no bounds. It is through these acts that community-building comes to the forefront. That is my mission and what drives me the most. Whether it be through illustration work that showcases the often underrepresented, video work that captures the beauty and essence of Black life and culture, or handmade dolls that aim to honor and acknowledge African traditions, there is no limit to my creativity and I will continue to create work that reminds Black people of their worth, even when the world becomes too heavy.
