The oral doctoral examination of Lauren McCormick, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Monday, February 27,  at 2 p.m. in 504 Hall of Languages and in Zoom

McCormick’s advisor is Professor James W. Watts. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Zachary Braiterman, Virginia Burrus and Erin D. Darby. Professor Glenn Peers will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “My Eyes Are Up Here: Guardian Iconography of the Judean Pillar Figurine.”
