Dissertation Defense: Suman Kumar Kundu

The oral doctoral examination of Suman Kumar Kundu, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, July 7, at 1 p.m. in the Physics Building, room 202.

Kundu’s advisor is Professor Eric Coughlin. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Stefan Ballmer and Alexander Nitz. Professor William Wylie will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Hydrodynamics, Stability and Accretion: from planets, to stars, to supermassive black holes.”
