Join SOURCE for an insightful panel discussion featuring alumni that participated in undergraduate research during their time at Syracuse. Learn how undergraduate research gave them additional skills and experiences that shaped their post-graduation path.
Our panel members include:
- Stephen DeSalvo (ECS ’14, Chemical Engineering) pursued biochemical engineering research and presented as one of SU’s first representatives at the ACC Meeting of the Minds conference; after earning his J.D., he is now an intellectual property associate with Kirkland & Ellis in Washington, D.C.
- Kristin Weeks (A&S ’15, Biology/Sociology/Political Science), completed undergraduate research projects in all her majors, went on to complete an MD/PhD, and is now part of the Physician-Scientist Training Program at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
- Antonio Ramos Rivera (MAX-A&S ’21, Economics/Philosophy), worked as a research assistant to Prof. Kristy Buzard, and developed his own project based on their research; now works at TikTok as a privacy specialist.
