Dissertation Defense: Shengjie Yao

The oral doctoral examination of Shengjie Yao, candidate for the Ph.D. degree  will be held on Friday, July 28, at 4 p.m. via Zoom

Yao’s advisor is Professor T. Makana Chock. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Carol Liebler, Dennis Kinsey, Qiu Wang, and Nick Bowman. Professor Lyndsay Gratch will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Why are we not using VR more? The exploration of potential factors affecting media consumer’s adoption of VR technologies.”
