Dissertation Defense: Athena Last

The oral doctoral examination of Athena Last, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Monday, June 5, at 10 a.m. via Zoom.

Last’s advisors are Professor Cecilia Green and Gretchen Purser. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Edwin Ackerman and Robert Silverman. Professor A.H. Peter Castro will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Procedural and Distributive Justice … For Whom? A Comparative Investigation of Community Benefits Agreements in Pittsburgh and Cleveland.”
