Amplifier will receive the Lorraine Branham IDEA Award. The award will be accepted by executive director Emily Goulding.
Broadcast journalists and anchors Katy Tur and Tony Dokoupil will serve as masters of ceremony. Five juried journalism awards—winners of this year’s competition —will also be presented.
The Mirror Awards are the most important awards for honoring excellence in media industry reporting. Established in 2006 by the Newhouse School, the awards honor the reporters, editors and teams of writers who hold a mirror to their own industry for the public’s benefit.
