The oral doctoral examination of Austin Brown, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Monday, June 12, at 10 a.m. via Zoom.
Brown’s advisor is Professor Shannon Monnat. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jackie Orr and M. Gail Hamner. Professor Gretchen Purser will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Suburban Subjectivities; A Genealogical Account of the American Dreamscape.”
