Dissertation Defense: Mackenzie Ess

The oral doctoral examination of Mackenzie Ess, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, June 15, at 11 a.m. in Huntington Hall, room 432.

Ess’s advisor is Professor Sara E. Burke. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Leonard S. Newman and Laura V. Machia. Professor Charisse L’Pree will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Stereotype Content of Intersecting Race, Class, and Gender Groups.”
