The oral doctoral examination of Alyssa Spear, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, June 16, at 1 p.m. in the Center for Science & Technology, room 1-132.

Spear’s advisor is Professor Robert P. Doyle. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors John Franck, Jon Zubieta, Rachel C. Steinhardt, and Olga Makhlynets. Professor Jesse Q. Bond will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Small molecule and peptide redox behavior via rare and earth abundant metal complexes.”
