Dissertation Defense: Vito Iaia

The oral doctoral examination of Vito Iaia, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, June 21, at 2 p.m. in the Physics Building, Room 202.

Iaia’s advisor is Professor Britton Plourde. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jay Hubisz and Ivan V Pechenezhskiy. Professor Dawit Negussey will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Downconversion of Phonons to Suppress Correlated Errors in Superconducting Qubit Arrays.”
