Syracuse University’s Setnor School of Music Jazz and Commercial Music ensembles to perform at Syracuse’s National Grid Jazz Fest 2023!
In its 37th year, Jazz Fest is the largest free jazz festival in the northeast. This year, the festival spans from June 21-25 in venues throughout Syracuse festival and will feature headliners Gladys Knight and Herbie Hancock, along with an incredible roster of artists throughout the festival. Performing in this amazing line up are two ensembles from Syracuse University.
Syracuse University Orange Juice is the Setnor School of Music’s premiere advanced jazz combo featuring instrumental and vocal performers. The ensemble performs regularly in concerts on campus as well as university and community events. The group is vocalist McKenna Fenimore, Joseph King on saxophone, Xaden Nishimitsu on trumpet, keyboardist Sam Ronan, Luke Brady on bass, and Grady Collingbourne on drums.
