International Women’s Day Reception for Dr. Gloria Somolekae

In celebration of International Women’s Day, join us for a dinner reception to welcome special guest Hon. Dr. Gloria Somolekae G’94, H’22 to campus and 119 Euclid.  Somolekae earned a Ph.D. in public administration from the Maxwell School and was the first citizen of Botswana to earn a Ph.D. in public administration.

She currently serves as the head of the Botswana Institute for Development Policy Analysis (BIDPA), a Think Tank whose primary function is to provide policy advice to the Botswana Government. and the first woman in the Department of Political and Administrative Studies at the University of Botswana.
