Dissertation Defense: Imelda Isabel Munoz

The oral doctoral examination of Imelda Isabel Munoz, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, March 10, at 1 p.m. in Zoom.

Munoz’s advisor is Professor Steve Sawyer. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jeff Hemsley, Jasmina Tacheva, Michael Dunn and Bryan Semaan. Professor Aaron Benanav will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Marginalization in the Future of Work: The Role of Intersectional Identities and Platforms in the Trajectories of Online Freelancers.”
