Ron Broitman leads all aspects of the rebranded global recorded music synchronization business representing all labels within WMG across over 40 territories.  In his prior role, Broitman was executive vice president, head of synchronization at Warner/Chappell Music and WMG, overseeing a joint synchronization operation for a second time in his career. Broitman led a team of 50 in four offices representing both recorded music and music publishing rights, offering clients a comprehensive licensing service by strategically developing opportunities in film, TV, advertising, video games and new media. Broitman previously served as senior vice president, head of synchronization at WCM.

Prior to WMG and WCM, Broitman served as senior vice president of film, TV and advertising at Sony/ATV Music Publishing. In this role, Broitman was responsible for building and managing the department that placed and negotiated Sony/ATV’s entire repertoire across all visual media platforms. Before joining Sony/ATV, Broitman held posts at BMG Music Publishing, including as vice president of film, TV and advertising music. In this position, he managed the synchronization department and represented the BMG and Zomba Music Publishing catalogs. During that time, Broitman was tasked with merging and overseeing the joint synchronization business for all music publishing catalogs and all BMG recorded music labels, including Arista, Jive and RCA among others.

Broitman holds a B.A. in economics from UCLA and a J.D. from Cornell Law School.
