American Reckoning is a documentary film about the life and legacy of civil rights activist Wharlest Jackson, Sr., and the search for justice for his unsolved racially-motivated murder in Mississippi in 1967.

After the screening, there will be a panel discussion:
> Paula Johnson, Professor of Law & Director, Cold Case Justice Initiative
> Brad Lichtenstein, Film Producer
> Wharlest Jackson Jr., Son of the late Wharlest Jackson Sr.

The panel will be moderated by Chanelle Benz, Assistant Professor of Creative Writing, Department of English
