Bird Library, Peter Graham Scholarly Commons (Room 114)

This event has already occurred. The information may no longer be valid.

Join Syracuse University Libraries and the Syracuse Humanities Center for a deep dive into AM online primary source collections in Syracuse’s holdings, from Shakespeare’s Globe Archive and Research Methods Primary Sources to Socialism on Film and Colonial Caribbean. In addition to overviews of content and functionality, from film reels to theatre records and diplomatic dispatches, we will provide a behind-the-scenes glimpse to the journey primary sources take from the physical archive to a digital platform. We will also explore the difference these materials can make in the classroom through teaching case studies. Presenter Dr. Laura Blomvall has a PhD on the limits of lyric poetry from University of York, UK, and is an Engagement Manager at AM.

Refreshments will be provided.
