Light Work’s Urban Video Project presents media arts collective The Institute of Queer Ecology (IQECO) in conversation with writer and scholar Halberstam exploring queerness as a lens to reimagine inhabiting the landscape beyond colonial and extractive practices. This event will take place in the Everson Museum auditorium in conjunction with the debut of video work by IQECO created on location in and around Syracuse, to be projected on the facade.
This event is part of the Syracuse University Humanities Center’s 20th annual Syracuse Symposium, focused on a “Landscapes” theme for 2023-2024.
