Family Weekend | Continuity, Innovation, and Resistance: The Art of Peter Jones

The exhibition will feature the ceramic works by internationally acclaimed Onondaga artist Peter B. Jones that comment on and actively resist the impact of colonialism on Haudenosaunee communities, past and present. Organized by College of Arts and Sciences faculty member Sascha Scott, associate professor and director of the art history graduate studies program, and Scott Manning Stevens (citizen of the Akwesasne Mohawk Nation), associate professor of English and director of the Native American Studies program.
