Students are invited to learn how to repair your books from the Libraries’ Preservation team. Participants will get hands-on book repair experience and learn how to re-attach pages, replace a damaged outer spine, and save a wet book. All tools and supplies will be provided.
Workshop will be held in the Preservation Lab, room 029 of the lower level of Bird Library (see lower level map). Registration is required and the event is limited to 17 attendees due to space. If you are still interested but miss registration, please email us (mhanley@syr.edu or sdunca02@syr.edu) and we will notify waitlisted individuals as space becomes available. Please cancel your registration if you find you are unable to attend so that waitlisted individuals have a chance to participate. All who register will receive an email confirming registration and receive instructions for cancelling their registration if needed.
