To foster peace and understanding through religious and spiritual life, the chaplains and staff of Hendricks Chapel at Syracuse University will host an Interfaith Day of Service and Learning on Nov. 12. Beginning with a luncheon in the Noble Room of Hendricks Chapel, participants — which will include representatives from several of Hendricks Chapel’s 14 chaplains and 25 religious and spiritual life groups — will be transported to “We Rise Above the Streets Recovery Outreach,” a local non-profit organization that assists those in need of food, clothing, housing, and resources. Following a time of service and learning in East Syracuse, participants will receive return transportation to Syracuse University.
