Join us for a visit from Rumsey Taylor, an assistant editor at The New York Times, on Tuesday, Nov. 14. He works across multiple desks as a visual editor, designer and engineer. In 2021 he was part of the team that won the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic. Taylor’s visual work can be seen in stories on passing in the NBA playoffs, the health risks of noise pollution and the greatest films of all time.

In this event, hear about how the art of crafting compelling visual stories has changed over the history of The Times. Insomnia Cookies will be served.
