Learn more about the Boren Awards and how they can support your language study at this hybrid information session with company representative Anna Gay.
Up to $25,000 is available for student travel to Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America and the Middle East to study critical need languages. Funds support semester and yearlong study as well as summer programs for STEM students.
Students must be matriculated graduate or undergraduate students and U.S. citizens. Students in any discipline may apply.
Previous Boren Award recipients from Syracuse have studied Arabic, Chinese, Persian, Portuguese, Russian and other languages spoken in regions outside of Western Europe.
You may attend in person at Eggers Hall or online. Zoom information will be provided upon registration.
