The oral doctoral examination of Wencheng Zhang, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, November 29, at 2 p.m. in Lyman Hall, Room 314A.
Zhang’s advisor is Professor Merril D. Silverstein. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Janet M. Wilmoth, Jennifer Karas Montez, and Emily E. Wiemers. Professor Sandra D. Lane will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Three Papers on Intergenerational Relationships in China.”
