The oral doctoral examination of Julia Giannini, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, November 30, at 9 a.m. in the Physics Building, Room 202.
Giannini’s advisor is Professor M. Lisa Manning. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Christian Santangelo, and Jennifer Ross. Professor Anupam Pandey will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Defects and Deformation in Passive and Active Structural Glasses”
