The oral doctoral examination of Ana Cortes Lagos, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Tuesday, October 10, at 11:00 a.m. EST in Tolley 307 and via Zoom.
Cortes Lagos’s advisor is Professor Brice A Norquist. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Lois Agnew, Krista Kennedy, and Natalia Ãvila. Professor Timur Hammond will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “A Research Center at the End of the World. A study of local writing practices in a global context.”
