Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a celebration of life and death. While the holiday originated in Mexico, it is celebrated all over Latin America with colorful calaveras (skulls) and calacas (skeletons). Families create ofrendas (Offerings) to honor their departed family members that have passed. Come join Orange After Dark, Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. and the Mexican Student Association to learn more about Day of the Dead and create your ofrendas!
