Researchers at Syracuse University have begun a three-year project, made possible by funding from the MetLife Foundation, focusing on various dimensions of the racial wealth gap. Conceiving of wealth as systems of access and accumulation of various kinds of resources, these researchers are examining the systemic barriers perpetuating and exacerbating the racial wealth gap. The Lender Conversation will feature a panel of experts discussing various ways of engaging the racial wealth gap with a particular focus on issues of housing and labor.
The roundtable discussion will take place at 5pm on October 30, 2023 at the National Press Club with a reception to follow.
