Future Professoriate Program info session

Each year, approximately 400 doctoral (and some master’s) students enroll in SU’s Future Professoriate Program (FPP), a professional development initiative for aspiring faculty. FPP participants are eligible to pursue the Certificate in University Teaching (CUT), a CV- and job-market-friendly credential. Yet the program encompasses many other aspects of preparation for a faculty career, including publications, grant-seeking, institutional diversity, awareness of the higher ed landscape, and more.

Glenn Wright, Executive Director of Professional and Career Development with the Graduate School and the lead administrator for the FPP campus-wide, will provide an overview of the program and take questions from prospective enrollees ahead of the September 8 enrollment deadline.
