Rashed Haq is a Bangladeshi-American artist and scientist. He learned photography in the darkroom in Rochester, New York, and was trained as a mathematical physicist. He then worked in Silicon Valley in artificial intelligence and robotics and maintaining his art practice combining photography and algorithms. He was awarded the Robotics Innovation Award by Robotics Business Review and was shortlisted for the AI Innovator of the Year Award by AI Business. His 2020 book “Enterprise AI Transformation” with Wiley Press was named one of the “100 Best Technology eBooks of All Time” by Book Authority.
The lecture, titled “Nervous Systems,” is presented in conjunction with the School of Art Visiting Artist Lecture Series.
