Architectural Site Sketching Workshop

Women In Design is hosting the second part of its architectural site sketching workshop this semester at the Slocum Hall auditorium. The workshop aims to help students learn the skills and confidence to sketch on-site. Robert Petrie, a local architect, artist and educator who specializes in hand-drafting and sketching, will lead the workshop. You can find his work on his website. The itinerary will focus on providing architecture students with the necessary skills for their time abroad and in the profession, but the event is open to all Syracuse University students.

Students not in the School of Architecture but are interested in design or want to learn to draw are encouraged to attend. Attendance to prior workshops or background knowledge is not required to attend the workshop. Bring a sketchbook and a pen if you can!
