The oral doctoral examination of Florencia Lauria, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, April 12, at 10 a.m. in 401A Hall of Languages and via Zoom.

Lauria’s advisor is Professor Crystal Bartolovich. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Scott Manning Stevens, Silvio Torres-Saillant, and Ethan Madarieta. Professor Danika Medak-Saltzman will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “”Turbulent Landscapes: Reading the Borders of Contemporary Latinx and Indigenous Literatures”.”
