This event aims to introduce the audience to Turkish cinema and culture by screening the film titled Mandıra Filozofu (Dairy Philosopher) (2014) directed by Müfit Can Saçıntı.
Dairy Philosopher is an eco-comedy about a person who abandons life in the city for life in the countryside in Turkey. The movie focuses on the thought-provoking dialogues between the rich businessman who wants to get the land to build a boutique hotel and the land-owner who loves his life in the village.
The Turkish Movie Night series also aims to complement the Turkish table events organized throughout the spring semester.
Light refreshments will be served.
