We’re gearing up for an exciting annual Innovation Showcase! In addition to poster displays from SyracuseCoE-affiliated researchers, faculty, students and interns, this year’s event will begin with a keynote address from Yinping Zhang, professor of Building Science and director of Beijing Key Laboratory of Indoor Air Quality at Tsinghua University, and president of the Academy of ISIAQ Fellows. His research interest is healthy and energy-efficient indoor environments.

In his keynote address, Professor Zhang will discuss his team’s work to identify the indoor air pollutants causing significant health and economic burdens in urban China, along with their ongoing work to utilize advanced technological means to create a low energy, online indoor air quality (IAQ) control system.
