New Student Programs invites new students to Fête. Fête, which is Haitian Creole for “party” or “celebration,” is a come-and-go event that includes meet and greets with members from registered student organizations that serve BIPOC students, meet other new students and student leaders, and tour the Barner-McDuffie House.
Although this program is meant to explore college experiences for students of color, it is open to anyone regardless of race, national origin, ethnicity or other demographic.
This event is optional for all new students. Parents, families and supporters should not attend.
