The oral doctoral examination of Yikang Xu, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, August 23, at 11a.m. in 414 Bowne Hall.
Xu’s advisor is Professor Dacheng Ren. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Era Jain and Yaoying Wu. Professor Liviu Movileanu will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Engineering Biomaterial Interfaces for Microbial Control.”
