Dissertation Defense: Daniel J. Kimmel

The oral doctoral examination of Daniel J. Kimmel, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 4 p.m. in Lyman Hall, room 303.

Kimmel’s advisor is Professor Virginia Burrus. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Patricia Cox Miller, William Robert, Elizabeth DePalma Digeser, and Jennifer Glancy. Professor Albrecht Diem will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Genealogies of Religion & Humanity in the Divine Institutes of Lactantius.”
